A Day at Sirmour Hydro Plant: Reliving Childhood Workplace Memories with My Father Year 2013

Spending a day at the Sirmour Hydro Electric Plant with my father in 2013 was like stepping back into the cherished memories of my childhood visits to the Sarni Power Plant. Growing up, I would eagerly accompany my father on his Rajdoot motorcycle to the plant, marveling at his work and savoring meals at the canteen. This time, riding my Bajaj Avenger, I experienced the serene and clean environment of the hydroelectric plant, a stark contrast to the coal-powered facility of Sarni. The majestic turbines, the quiet reservoir, and the scenic beauty surrounding the plant painted a picture of innovation and sustainability.

Capturing moments with my camera, from my father diligently reviewing files in his office to our shared meals reminiscent of old times, made this visit a heartfelt connection between generations. It reminded me of the immense hard work that shapes the lives and futures of families and the nation.
