Bike Journey Sarni to Mohad Year 2009

After traversing 1100 kilometers from Delhi to my hometown, Sarni, I was ready to embark on the next leg of my journey—this time to reconnect with my Nana, Nani, Mama, Mami, and other beloved relatives. My destination was the serene Satpura region of Madhya Pradesh, a place that holds deep roots for me. With excitement, I set off toward Mohad, a charming village nestled in the Narsinghpur district. The road ahead was not just another path but a bridge connecting me with the rich heritage of my family and the timeless tranquility of rural life.

As I made my way through the picturesque landscapes, crossing through the magnificent Hoshangabad—now known as Narmadapuram—the journey became more than just a geographical crossing. Each stretch of the road seemed to speak of stories from the past, filling me with a sense of nostalgia and belonging. The lush greenery, expansive fields, and calm rivers of Madhya Pradesh painted a canvas of simplicity and beauty that resonated with my soul. It was a reminder of how these rural landscapes had shaped my identity over the years.

This journey was far more than just covering distances; it was a soulful exploration of my roots. The serene beauty of Mohad and the surrounding Satpura region captured the essence of Madhya Pradesh’s rural charm. Every moment spent traveling toward my family felt like a celebration of the simple yet profound beauty of village life, reminding me of the unspoken bonds that tie us to our homeland.
