Bodhkharboo in Pictures: A Memorable Detour on Our Ladakh Road Trip Year 2009

In 2009, during a month-long road trip across Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh with my TravelGuru colleague Dhole Sir and friends, an unplanned night in Bodhkharboo turned into one of our most unforgettable adventures. Starting from Kargil with plans to reach Leh, we were slowed by rugged terrain, mesmerizing sights like Wakha and Mulbek with their ancient Buddha carvings, and the stark shift to Ladakh’s treeless mountains. As dusk fell, we arrived in the remote village of Bodhkharboo, where we eventually found shelter in a deserted PWD guest house, cooking Maggi and braving the freezing cold together.
