But getting fresh milk from a cow was an entirely new adventure. With lessons from my uncle and Nana, I finally learned the trick to getting my own fresh cup of milk.

They guided me through the cow milking process, teaching me the importance of gentle yet firm hand movements to ensure the cow’s comfort while efficiently extracting the milk. From positioning the milking stool correctly to mastering the rhythmic squeeze-release motion, every step was a revelation. Looking back, those days still fill me with nostalgia as I cherish the taste of truly fresh milk straight from the source.
