Two Bikes, One Road: My 2011 Ride to Nainital’s Scenic Bliss

In 2011, I embarked on a bike ride to Nainital, a trip that marked the beginning of my unforgettable adventures in the hills. Riding my trusty Bajaj Avenger alongside my friend Anurag Sinha on his Pulsar, we journeyed from Gurgaon through scenic stops like Garhmukteshwar and Bhimtal. The road tested our endurance while gifting us breathtaking views and moments of camaraderie. Each stop, whether having chole bhature for breakfast, savoring local delicacies lunch at Devi Dhaba or enjoying tea by Bhimtal Lake, added vivid colors to our adventure. Reaching Nainital by nightfall, we immersed ourselves in the charm of Mall Road, capturing the serene beauty of Naini Lake in photographs.

This trip wasn’t just a journey; it was the prelude to my eventual solo cross-border bike ride to Nepal, a testament to the joys of exploration and resilience.
